The Panthella was originally designed in 1971 by Verner Panton in collaboration with Louis Poulsen. It is an exceptional design that not only reflects Panton's playful style, but also uses organic shapes to create exceptional light. The semi-circular shade directs most of the light downwards, where it is reflected by the trumpet-shaped base. This creates a soft and diffused light. The Panthella 250 table lamp is a small-scale version, with a shade diameter of 250 mm, making it ideal for a wide range of environments.
