Verner Panton designed the iconic Panthella lamp in 1971. With this lamp he proved his unerring sense of mood lighting: the timeless, attractive design is an asset to any room. The shape is characteristic of Panton. He aimed to create lamps with a light reflection in both the base and the shade. The fixture made of white, opal acrylic gives a pleasant diffuse light. The Panthella Floor lamp, together with the Panthella Table, is one of Verner Panton's most popular lamps.
