Cor Alons (1892 - 1967) was an interior designer, industrial designer, furniture designer, and lecturer at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.

As a representative of functionalism, Alons designed simple furniture with clean lines and solid constructions, using valuable materials and diverse colors.

In 1929, he became a lecturer at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and became an important mentor to Rob Parry.

In 1962, for his 70th birthday, he was honored with an exhibition at the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag. Today, you can view his work at the Centraal Museum Utrecht.
