Wall unit Kai Kristiansen

This wall system consists of 6 bookshelves with dimensions of 85cm wide x 24cm deep.

1 chest of drawers and One cabinet with sliding doors , measuring 85cm wide x 50cm high x 40cm deep. The photos show the interior layout, including compartments, drawers, and shelves.

And three 200cm wall rails. The rails are attached to the wall with screws. The cabinets and shelves have iron hooks on the back, allowing them to be hung in the recesses in the rails. It's very well designed, as all the shelves and cabinets hang stably and securely. Moreover, it's very easy to customize the layout to your liking.

The whole thing is in very good condition with only a few minor scratches and a few very small repairs, see photos. Everything has been cleaned and oiled and is ready for use.

At the age of 26, Danish designer Kai Kristiansen (1929-2023) opened his own studio in the Danish Modern style, where he favored working with beautifully combined teak and rosewood materials. His modular FM Reolsystem, designed in 1957 for Feldballe Møbelfabrik, became a global success, just like Poul Cadovius's.
